After going through her own brutal divorce Carolyn Tate knew there must be a better way
After going through my own acrimonious separation in 2019, I know how freaking hard it can be to try to navigate your way through the business of divorce, while also juggling lots of emotions, trying to be a good parent, balance that with your career demands, and stay on an even keel and think about what you want for your future. Oh, and don’t forget to eat well and get plenty of sleep. Ugh, where do you even start with all of that!?
Divorce isn’t something you’re naturally good at, nor is it something people talk about a whole lot. How are you supposed to know what to do?
That's why I created Women's Divorce Academy in 2020 – to give Australian women the guidance, support, and community I wish I'd had during my own journey.
What started as a vision to help women navigate divorce with confidence has evolved into something even more powerful: a movement that's transforming how thousands of Australian women experience divorce. Instead of feeling overwhelmed and alone, they're discovering that they can feel empowered and free - and that this can be the beginning of their best chapter yet.
It can even be fun, I promise!
Today, alongside my expert WDA team of professional consultants, I provide strategic guidance to businesses and organisations about supporting women through divorce, while continuing to expand our programs that help women turn their divorce into the best thing that ever happened to them.
Don’t think of divorce as the end - think of it as the chance to start again, on your terms.
